The 2020 Back to School Bash is Still On!
While our schools navigate their safe re-openings, Perry County Job and Family Services (PCJFS) will hold its annual Back to School Bash.
The Back to School Bash is always a time for PCJFS to say a very special “Thank You!” for everyone helping to make the 2020 Bash possible during these challenging times.
Despite the pandemic and the developing plans from school districts, this coming August 12th we will give 789 pre-registered children a backpack full of supplies, a school spirit hoodie, and tennis shoes. Additionally, they will receive a voucher for personal hygiene products and a haircut.
We’ve pivoted from our traditional community event to a socially distanced drive through event, but we will still be connecting the generosity and support of our community to children and families hoping for the best school year possible.
More than ever before, the 2020 Back to School Bash would not have been possible without the generosity and support of people like you. Together, we were able to encourage, inspire, and prepare the children of Perry County with the tools necessary to be successful during this challenging school year.
We just want to remind everyone we’re arranging the event by school district, and that pre-registration is required.
If you’ve signed up for the Bash, find your school district below and drive through at the County Fairgrounds anytime during the assigned block of time. Do not attend a public school? Use the time block for the school district where you live:
- New Lexington 8:00am-11:30pm
- Miller 12:30pm-2:30pm
- Crooksville 2:30pm-4:30pm
- Northern Local 4:30pm-6:00pm
